Retinol and New EU Regulations – Stock Up on Your Favourites

From 1 November 2026, new EU regulations will apply to cosmetic products containing vitamin A derivatives, such as retinol. For facial products, the regulations set a limit of 0.3% retinol equivalents.

This means that certain retinol products with higher concentrations may no longer be sold within the EU after 31 October 2026. If you have a favourite retinol product in your skincare routine, we recommend stocking up in good time.

At Skin Society, we have a limited stock of the affected retinol products. Once they are sold out, they will not return in the same formulation.

Retinol is a popular ingredient for those looking to target concerns such as fine lines, uneven skin texture, pigmentation, and dullness. Remember to introduce retinol gradually, adapt its use to your skin’s needs, and always wear SPF during the day.

At the same time, we are looking forward to an exciting autumn at Skin Society. We will begin launching several new products already in August, with even more new releases throughout the autumn. In 2027, even more exciting additions will be arriving on our shelves.
